Ever wondered what you should be looking for when you are preriding a course prior to a race? Join Krista Park on Saturday, Feb 26 at 2pm to preride the Heritage course where the first GAP race of the season will be held. She will give you hints on how to spot the best racing line, what to look for when preriding, etc. Please understand that this is not a skills clinic and is not for beginner mountain bike riders. This clinic will focus on racing, the race course and how to best prepare for racing. This clinic will be tailored toward beginner racers (not beginner riders) and first year sport racers. If you have any questions, please email Krista at KristaParkMTB@yahoo.com. If it is raining, the clinic will be canceled. |

Hands-on bike maintenance workshop. This was offered to a small group of MTB women. An opportunity to get their hands dirty and learn the "how to" of some very important bike repairs. This was a valuable workshop that will hopefully serve the women well out there on the trail. |

Krista Park, our resident pro, has agreed to host our skills clinic this Saturday at 1pm. This is a make up clinic that we had to post-pone due to rain back in January. The beginner’s clinic and ride will cover an introduction to mountain biking, riding skills, bike maintenance and ride preparation. After the clinic everyone will be able to venture out onto the trail. Please bring your bike, helmet and something to drink throughout the ride. Even more seasoned riders often mention they always learn something new at these things. Here's a chance to learn from someone who's riding the pro circuit this year! |
